I constantly hear people talking about platform risk.

"Oh, you need an email list. You have to own your platform."

In my own anecdotal experience, I've never been able to utilize an email list. And I don't subscribe to newsletters, either.

However, I thought about it. Why not add an email signup? It literally takes 10 minutes to add.

So, I decided to do that, and create a tiny newsletter for this website.

You'll probably notice a link to sign up, at the bottom of this page.

I used buttondown.email - for those technically curious.

Don't worry. I'll post only large updates. Monthly blogs, long essays, etc. Not daily :)
