November 16th, 2021 | Tax bill

Just as I was celebrating reaching $5K MRR yesterday, I received my tax bill.

I was at wrestling practice, in the locker rooms, getting ready to go out and train.

I receive an email from my accountant.

"Hey Alex, hope you are well. Here are our tax filings for 2021."

It hit me like a sledgehammer on the chest. Big, big number.

"Fuck.. I still have a long way to go to stop thinking about money and become truly free."
