Happy 4th of July to all my American friends.

Today I was reminded that I’ve never visited America. And that when I was young, it was my dream destination.

I remember watching skateboarding tutorials on YouTube when I was 13-14 and all the guys showing the tricks were Americans living in suburbs.

A green lawn, a dog, two nice cars, a garage, a quiet neighborhood. I was jealous growing up in a small apartment in a city in Greece.

I would still love to go to the US, but probably not those places. I would love to live in New York City for a few months and San Fransisco of course, the capital of tech. But in a couple of years. When I am (hopefully) earning a lot more money.
