March 7th, 2021 | Focus on yourself

I feel guilt when I focus on my business, instead of myself.

For the last two weeks, I've been rebuilding Cyberleads with code.
- To move away from my no code tool, and avoid platform risk.
- To automate a few very specific things.
- To be in a flexible position, where I can extend Cyberleads if I want in the future.

Basically, taking one step backwards, in order to take two steps forward.

In the grand scheme of things, two weeks is nothing. But I momentarily lost something else, which is intangible. Momentum.

I neglected marketing. I neglected working on distribution. I neglected working on myself.

I ended up coding all day, every day. 12 hours per day. For half a month.

Stopped writing. Stopped reading. Stopped studying Italian. Eating clean. Working out. Doing podcasts. Tweeting. Sleeping well.

Luckily, now I'm done. It's time to start working on my self again.

Which, counter-intuitively, is the best thing you can do for your business, anyway.

When I do that, and feel at my best, my business flies. When I don't, I've noticed that it nosedives.
