March 23rd, 2021 | Palermo

I wish I could say that I love it here in Palermo.

So far, I don't like it. Reminds me too much of the bad aspects of Greece.

The infrastructure, the way people drive, etc.

It's funny. Even though I'm still in the same country, it's a completely different vibe.

Milan felt like Germany. Palermo feels like Greece. Even Morocco, to be honest. Like going from Central Europe to Northern Africa.

But, if I truly want to travel the world and go to Latin America, South East Asia, etc, I have to get used to a bit of bad infrastructure.

I guess.. I have to put in some effort and try to see the beauty in these colorful, half destroyed buildings with clothes and wires hanging everywhere.

And I think I can, it's just a matter of getting used to the initial shock.

At least my internet is good enough. So, I can burry my head in work for now, until I get used to my new surroundings.
