August 2, 2020 | Reflect

Today I feel a bit better than yesterday.

I don't feel like vomiting so much when looking outside my window, at the same old buildings.

You are probably thinking that my hometown is some dirty ass village with goats and shit everywhere.

Actually, my city is super pretty. It's called Thessaloniki and it's the nicest large Greek city, in most peoples' opinion. It's in the north of the country, and it's the second largest city, after Athens.

But most importantly, it's built by the sea. Nothing beats going for a long walk looking at the sea and contemplating.

But now I'm on a very well defined path of self improvement. Extremely focused and looking ahead towards my freedom. With no breaks, going at 100 miles per hour.

Coming back here feels like a step backwards.

On the bright side, at least it's the perfect time to reflect!

Sometimes a step backwards is what's needed to take two steps forward.

I'll finish my monster blog post I promised: "2.5 years of indie hacking". I'll describe what changed and I went from 2 years of mediocre results, to 6 months of exponential progress.

I'll also respond to some interview requests I've been postponing, and also appear on a podcast I've been invited to.
